Data Forms, Inc. was started by the Wobber brothers of Shepherd Business Forms in Portland, OR in 1961.

  • In 1963 Data Forms, Inc. was purchased by John Crawford of the Tumelum Lumber Company out of Bend, OR - Bruce Elliott was hired to run Data Forms, Inc. in 1963.
  • In 1968 Bruce Elliott and Will Simpson purchased the company from John Crawford.
  • Will Simpson purchased Data Forms, Inc. from Bruce Elliott in 1977.
  • Bruce Elliott and Mike Elliott purchased Mid State Business Forms in Fresno, CA in 1983.
  • Mike Elliott and Will Simpson purchased City Business Forms in San Francisco in 1985.
  • Bruce Elliott and Mike Elliott purchased Data Forms, Inc. from Will Simpson in May 1998 and merged all three operations from Fresno, San Francisco and Reno to one facility in Reno, NV.
  • Precision Rotary Business Forms in San Jose, CA was purchased from Ted Wilcox in 2000 and merged into the Reno, NV facility

Welcome to our world!!


Recently, while looking into how we could provide an even better service to our customers, we made the exciting decision to join the Social Media world.  Some of you may have been socializing for a while, for others like us, plunging into the fast paced freeway of Twitter, the warm and inviting friendships of Facebook and most of all the intellectually stimulating world of Blogging, well as you can imagine, this is a very exciting time for us.

For a company like ours, that has been around since 1963, when computers barely existed, we have watched with amazement at how our industry has changed.  We have watched it go from paper products only, to high tech products with Document Security features and targeted direct mail.  In a world where just about anything can be recreated using a computer, we have needed to be ahead of our times to protect our clients, while keeping up with the latest printing machinery and products. 

Well, this is our new chapter.  We are going to use this blog to share some of our expertise, tools, and resources we think you may find useful, as well as fun tips and tricks to help with your everyday business printing needs.  We would love to hear from you!  Share with us some of the things that you want to know more about and we will do our best to get you the latest news.
